Sigma Mrs. Bunny Blue Travel Edition

Few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win one of Sigma's Twitter follower giveaway competitions, and I was soooooo happy to find out that I had won the Sigma Mrs. Bunny Blue Travel Edition!! The Mrs. Bunny Blue Essential Kit (which is a larger collection of brushes) has been on my wishlist since it first came out, so I was excited to have won the travel edition... I think I did a little happy dance and screamed with joy! For my thoughts on this brush set, continue reading :)

Sigma brushes are one of my favourite brand of brushes! Their Sigmax F80 brush is my holy grail brush for liquid foundation (I even have a backup, that's how much I love that brush). Their brushes are affordable, very soft and come in a range of colours.

The Sigma Bunny Collection is a range of synthetic vegan cruelty-free brushes, using Sigmax HD fibers which means that the bristles pick up the right amount of product with minimal absorption into the bristles, making applying makeup more efficient and you use up less product.

The brush kit comes with 7 travel size brushes (3 face brushes, 4 eye brushes) that fit perfectly into a hard leather cylindrical case that also doubles up as a brush holder. The ferrules are a lovely muted pink and blue colour which I find is cute and girly.

The face brushes:

From the top:
F30 - Large Powder brush
F40 - Large Angled Contour brush
F60 - Foundation brush

The eye brushes:

From the top:
E40 - Tapered Blending brush
E55 - Eye Shading brush
E30 - Pencil brush
E65 - Small Angle brush

I absolutely love this brush set! The bristles are so soft and it applies makeup smoothly. I especially love the F40 (perfect for precise contouring and blush application), E40 (great for blending eyeshadow) and the F30 (which is great for applying powder products like foundation, setting powder and blush). I also love the packaging, the hard case is great for travelling and very handy as a brush holder.

This brush kit retails for $59.00. If you're interested in checking out Sigma's range of brush sets and other products, you can visit their website at www.sigmabeauty.com. They also always hold awesome giveaways/competitions so make sure you follow them on Twitter and Facebook. Lastly, thank you Sigma!

    1. You're right! That would have been perfect, I hardly ever use this sort of brush for foundation. I think I'm going to use this brush for concealing or highlighting on the cheekbones :)
