MAC Marilyn Monroe collection lipsticks in Charmed I'm Sure and Love Goddess

The Marilyn Monroe collection is MAC's latest limited edition release which contains a range of lipsticks, nails polishes, blushes, lip pencils and other various products. You can see the full list of products here. Majority of the products come with a gorgeous print of Marilyn Monroe from The Black Sitting and if you're a fan of Marilyn Monroe, then the packaging is definitely something that may tempt you to purchase something from this collection.

All the colours in this collection are all very reminiscent of something that Marilyn herself would wear....especially the red-toned lipsticks. I was most tempted by the lipsticks so I got my hands on two of them, namely: Charmed I'm Sure and Love Goddess.

Charmed I'm Sure is a dark true red with a matte finish. It has great pigmentation and although it is a matte, it's not as drying as MAC's Ruby Woo and applies quite smoothly.

Love Goddess is a mid-tone pink red with a satin finish. It's also very pigmented and applies very smoothly.

Overall, I LOVE both colours (I'm tempted to see if I can still get Deeply Adored)! Both lipsticks do stain the lips so that's something to be aware of. They both wore for at least 5 - 6 hours. The MAC Marilyn Monroe collection is definitely something worth checking out and adding to your makeup collection while there's still stock! I'm glad I managed to get the lipsticks that I wanted.
